The cost of the base Black Box Toolkit is currently £850 GBP. Additional modules are priced separately and can be purchased at any time dependent on your needs.

The base kit comes complete with two opto-detectors that can be affixed to either CRT or TFT screens in order to detect image event onset, duration and offset. Two Active Switch Closure leads are also provided. These can be tacked on to your response device primary button/key and used to simulate responses. An example paradigm that could be tested using this set-up would be a choice reaction time paradigm that used visual stimuli.

In addition experiment generators that can use the printer port can utilize the BBTK response pad or BBTK microphones to register response. £175 GBP             In-line TTL invertor The invertor is used to invert TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) signals sent to the toolkit from your own equipment. It can also invert TTL signals from the toolkit to your own equipment. Typically, this is used where you are unable to invert signals from your own equipment. Signals may need to be inverted to trigger the toolkit. £35 GBP             Replacement Active Switch Closure lead Active Switch Closure leads can be attached to your own response devices to simulate button/key presses.
